Key Account Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join a digital media solutions company and to look after their existing client base and new business development. Our client is one of the top leaders in digital advertising and they are looking for a candidate with the ability to maintain longstanding relationships with clients and must have 2 years plus experience in advertising sales.

Main purpose of the job: Being involved in online advertising sales (web, mobile, e-mail) and being responsible and accountable for managing the relationships and advertising activities between clients and agencies across our client's portfolio of web and mobile sites.

Key Responsibilities


      Manage the relationships between the company and the client accounts


Maximize income from client accounts

Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets

Identify and pursue now clients

Maximize income across websites within the company from your client

Conceptualize, verbalize, document, test, propose and present new online income generating opportunities in consultation with Channel Sales Managers & AdOps, to clients within your client account portfolio

Use web analytics tools to analyse site traffic and user demographics

Sourcing of images, artwork or final material from advertisers

Skills:


      Should be able to create and maintain good relationships with clients


Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Able to work well under pressure

Confident in own ability to self-manage activities, but able to work closely in a team

Able to identify and realise income opportunities related to online advertising

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to meet deadlines

Ability to take initiative

Must be able to balance creative and business

Must be passionate about online advertising and marketing

Qualifications and Experience:


      2 years plus advertising sales experience (online experience advantageous)


Reputable base of advertising clients and accounts (digital and/or agency)

Fully computer literate (Microsoft)

Knowledge of Web Analytic tools advantageous

An advertising / marketing or related qualification advantageous
