Content Manager

at Recruit Digital in Johannesburg North

The content manager will strategically plan, conceptualise and create monthly Social Media content calendars, curate, write and edit content for blog, PR, social, mailer and website formats.


You will capitalise on Social Media platform knowledge, cultural trends, local and global social & behavioural trends and audience understanding to deliver content that brings brands to life online.

Please note this role is an EE position and applicants will be considered accordingly.

  Requirements



  • 2-5 years experience managing social media platforms or communities for brands
  • Prior experience or training in advertising, PR, online marketing or similar field
  • Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Content conceptualization and curation across digital platforms
  • Strategic planning, implementing and reporting on content
  • Overseeing output from creative team, including; designers, animators, and other copywriters 
  • Build and maintain our content distribution network by way of social media channels
  • Sourcing and managing content development and publishing
  • Create content for feeds and snippets in various social media sites
  • Effectively interpret the direction of strategy/planning and creative leads
  • Enforce the Social Media Guidelines as defined by the brand
